Windowpane Scarf

When i went to Iceland, i wore a scoodie that i made. One of the ladies in the tour loved it. She bought some icelandic yarn (4 50g balls) and asked me to make a scarf for her.

She left everything else up to me. After much browsing in google and ravelry, i decided on the windowpane scarf.

I actually made the width too wide (following exactly the pattern in the link above). So i had to frog it and reduce the number of beginning chain stitch. Still the scarf turned out a tad short…about 50″ long. So i added tassles at the ends to make it longer.

It looks pretty good and the lady said it looks beautiful.I think i’m going to make more windowpane stuffs.
