I had to work today (just like any other Saturday mornings since 3 weeks ago). I must say that today went better than the past 3 Saturdays coz today there were no crying kids! Hurray! Plus today we made a butterfly craft as a follow up of the Very Hungry Caterpillar story by Eric Carle. Here’s a pix of the kids making their butterflies.
It’s so easy (one of them even finished in next to no time)! The younger kids used the butterfly as props while the older kids had a short show&tell about their butterfly.
After that i zoomed off to Funan IT mall for a craft meet. It started at 11am but i finished work at 11.45am. The organizer said that it was okay to come late so…Yay! I made it there at about 12.30pm. We sewed our own lemon slice pincushion. Here’s mine:
It was great to spend Saturday afternoon with like-minded crafters! Hope to see them again soon.
Craftastherapy on Instagram featured another one of my watercolour book art on their round up feed:
My euphoric elephants with a spray of rainbow! Now i’m filled with euphoria! Hehe…
