Scalloped edge baby hats

Black is beautiful…even for babies… if matched with suitable colours, of course!

Just finished these two baby hats. They only take a few hours each (but i think you might be able to finish it in an hour. I took lotsa break in between coz i just couldn’t do round after round of hdc continuously. I admit… i get bored easily).

I modified this pattern to make the hat. I wanted to just follow it wholesale but i was too lazy to make a gauge sample. Hence after a bit i had to wing it (i do thid a lot, don’t i?) As for the flower, i followed this pattern using a 5mm hook. I modified the pattern a bit for the two-toned flower so that the last set of petals are not inline with the first two sets.

What have you been making?
