Yarn Bombing SG group organized it’s first crochet workshop/ Project Wawa meet up today. Held at Hanis’ cafe at the National Library, 9 people gathered to learn how to crochet a Mini Wawa Doll.
I am honoured that they chose to use my Wawa Doll pattern. Thanks Mona for printing out the patterns to distribute to the participants.
Here are the Wawa Dolls. We aimed to make the small one at the end of today’s session.
I thought 2 hours was enough to finish one Mini Wawa Doll. There were a number of newbies who has never crochet before. So we had to teach the basics first. Most of them managed to finish the head at the end of the session. I showed them the various stitches. So hopefully they can finish up on their own.
